Watch them live Saturday, August 11th, 2018 @ McLean Mill for this years’ Shaker!
From humble beginnings with their folk roots. Ramblerspeak has moved away from its more acoustic origins and taken a more Indie Rock approach to their sound. “The band drifts from a driving rock sound into a hint of country twang, back into a bluesy folk sound. Their internal chemistry flows around the stage and then out from it into the audience, welcoming those with tickets into their little group to share in their energy and fun.” – Mike Davies (Campbell River Mirror)
With newer members of the group Chris (drums) and Ben (Guitar), Norah and bassist Torsten have taken to a different writing style with influences like Alabama Shakes, Kings of Leon and Wintersleep. The band is working on the writing of its first full album, after the release of their first EP in February 2017.
With notable performances opening most recently for the likes of Band Of Rascals, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Lisa Leblanc, High Noon to Midnight and more, and also hosting a sell out CD Release party in 2017 @ Victoria’s Lucky Bar. The Band is gaining a reputation for its loud/higher energy performances whilst still maintaining excellent band dynamic. This is one show you won’t want to miss in the coming year.
The band would also like to note that it would like to put a retainer on all Grapefruit juice at any venue they are playing….In case of emergency Grapefruit Juice Requirements.
