The Five Acre Shaker MusicFest 2020 Postponed Until Further Notice
April 20th, 2020
Port Alberni – It is with a heavy heart we announce the cancellation of the Five Acre Shaker Music Festival for 2020.
On Saturday, April 18, 2020, the provincial health officer cancelled all large summer events including all music festivals across BC. We fully support this initiative as the health and safety of our family, friends, and the community is of the highest priority.
We look forward to 2021 when we can all come together and celebrate our music festival. For now, we will use this time to get creative and begin putting together the best show ever for Shaker 2021!
We would like to extend a huge thank you to our committee members, volunteers, sponsors, performers, and fans as we are extremely grateful for your unwavering support.

We are promoting local youth by working with the Zattzoo Project and their annual Battle of the Bands competition. This annual event gives youth under 25 from all over Vancouver Island a chance to perform, compete,and earn prizes and a spot in the Shaker Lineup!
